This very well known bar has been with the same family for the
last ten years in which time it has built up a great trade and
reputation. The owner has 10 years of accounts to show the success
of this business.
The bar is located
in one of the best parts of the coast, the famous Carihuela,
on a very busy pedestrian street full of shops, so the bar has
a lot of passing trade all year round. Popular with holidaymakers
who visit the area year after year, and they always come back
to this bar.
Although small,
the front, sunny terrace can seat 14 people. The bar is
second line back from a fantastic beach.
Inside, the bar has the feel of an English pub, more than just
a bar. The main area is bright, clean and very well arranged
with a mixture of fixed and table seating for 40 people. The
tables and chairs are wooden and the fixed seating is comfortably
cushioned.
There are 3 TVs, which connect to 5 different satellites so
all the football matches can be seen at once and the TVs sound
is connected to speakers which creates a great atmosphere when
the games are on. The bar is fully air conditioned and
also has plenty of fans. There is a pay phone and a fruit machine.
The serving bar has 6 bar stools, a wooden top and a thatched
styled roof. There are overhead glass holders, a 3 door cooler,
2 sinks, till, music system, microwave, freezer and a fridge.
The bar has a large working area and is well organised. The
back wall has wooden shelving for the display of spirits.
There is a small kitchen just off the bar which is equipped
with a sink, 2 gas rings, a toaster, 2 microwaves, a dishwasher
and a fridge/freezer. Snacks and meals are served throughout
the day and night.
The ladies and
gents toilets are clean and very easily accessed towards the
back of the bar.
There are 4 members
of the family working here and the owners employ 1 member of
staff, 3 days of the week.
